Beautiful note with strong colors and perfect margins! A plethora of designs throughout both sides! Black serial number on the front. Deep embossing evident through the plastic holder. Partial date given as the denominator of the serial number prefix.

Dark brown on multicolored underprint 1989. Arms at center, civilian bust of King Moshoeshoe II in new portrait at right. Building and Lesotho flag at left on back. King Mosheshoe II as watermark. Moshoeshoe II, previously known as Constantine Bereng Seeiso, was the paramount chief of Lesotho, succeeding paramount chief Seeiso from 1960 until the country gained full independence from Britain in 1966.
