An argument can be made for a higher grade because the appearance on this bill is flawless boardwalk fat margins and razor sharp corner only begin to tell the whole story of a note with the most colors ever featured on one note. Only two example have been documented has finer but if they ever got placed side by side, in this writer's opinion, this is the winner! A beautiful note with lovely design showcasing agriculture, trade, and commerce that was used throughout the CFA Franc area. By this time, Emperor Bokassa had been deposed, and the nation's name reverted to being the Central African Republic.
